This real cbe wedding pulled inspiration from the natural waterfront hues of Lake Monona with deep blues, comforting shades of blush and a striking copper tone to create a sophisticatedly warm palette for Tayler & Brent’s late summer wedding. With Lake Monona as the backdrop, the Bishops Bay Country Club venue provided the perfect elegant yet natural setting for their ceremony. The venue was adorned with both modern and traditional floral arrangements; a semi circle ceremony floral arrangement perfectly framed the happy couple as they exchanged their vows while symmetrical classic vessels lined the back of the aisle. Following along the natural trend, signage and stationary was finished with a light, classic calligraphy and blush ribbon. As guests made their way to the tented reception area for cocktail hour, they were greeted with a handmade wooden escort card wall affectionately labeled “our favorite people” that guided them to their seats. To make the happy hour even happier, his and hers Sassy Cow ice cream was served in addition to the couples signature cocktail: a Wisconsin brandy old fashioned press. During the reception, the father of the bride took to the stage and surprised the couple with a special song written just for Tayler. To add to the theme of musical surprises, the couple had their first dance to Dancing in the Moonlight while the parent’s dance song was MoonDance – no one realized until that moment that they had both chosen “moon” songs – and on top of that, there ended up being a supermoon that night. Upbeat Orchestra brought down the house as guests ate, drank, and celebrated Tayler & Brent being married.
