We are excited to welcome 4 new interns this Spring to the CBE team. Our internship has developed over the years and we are happy to announce many success stories of interns who now have jobs in the event industry world – such as working for a planner on the east coast, another doing Destination Weddings in Puerto Rico, working for DreamBank, and another working for the UW Business school in events. We are always excited to add fresh creative minds to the CBE team and welcome these ladies!

“I really love outdoor weddings! They’re so open and inviting! Also they’re natural and beautiful!”
What do you like to do when you’re not dreaming about beautiful weddings and events?

Use 5 words to describe what your own wedding would be?
“I want my wedding to be soft, whimsical, intimate, joyful, and vintage.”
What celebrity wedding would you have wanted to be an attendee at?
“I wish I could have attended the wedding of Lauren Conrad and William Tell. I have always been a fan of Lauren Conrad and because she is a designer, I knew her wedding would be nothing short of perfection. The soft neutral colors with accents of blush used throughout her wedding perfectly accented her rustic vineyard venue. Also, William used to be in a band so he sang and played guitar for the guests, which I am sure turned the dance floor into a big party. Dancing is my favorite part of every wedding, so I would have loved to be able to join them in celebrating their big day!”
What is your favorite wedding detail or trend?
“My favorite wedding trend right now is the use of a pastel color theme. I love weddings where pastels are incorporated in the bridesmaids dresses, flowers, and linens. These colors create a soft and romantic feel that I have always enjoyed. Adding a hint of sparkle with a gold or silver accent color completes this look for me.”
What do you like to do when you’re not dreaming about beautiful weddings and events?
“When I am not stuck in a wedding dreamland, I love to spend time with my family, friends, and golden retriever, Milo. I also love to dance, read, and cook up new dishes in the kitchen.”
