Recently, we had the pleasure of working with newlyweds Veronica and Nathan.  Ever since their wedding, we’ve been obsessed with horseshoes.  They used old horseshoes as awesome wedding favors.  A used horseshoe, placed above a north or south facing door or window, is a sign of good luck and a traditional symbol of protection.  Hang a horseshoe at your ceremony or in your home with the open end facing up to catch the positive energy and good fortune that enters your home and to protect you from bad luck and misfortune. We just loved this clever idea – and the cute tags that went along with them to inform the guests of the history. It is always such a special and unique touch when you bring the elements from your everyday life to details of your wedding – this day is about you two, and it should show that!
