In our last post, we discussed some of the awesome benefits of having an off-season wedding, and now we want to talk details.

The Dress:
Off-season weddings offer the chance to incorporate some deeper tones; so don’t shy away from jewel tones such as rich reds or play with metallic themes. To keep warm, try adding some velvet or some faux fur, they can be a useful and beautiful addition to your gown.

The Decorations:
As we said before, during the winter months it can be festive to play up icy metallic colors. Try incorporating not only those cool colors in metallic, but in textures as well – decorations such as glass hanging icicles. The effect will make your guests feel like they have entered a winter wonderland.

The Scenery:
Use the atypical scenery to your advantage, and don’t be afraid to get creative! The icy snow can create a beautiful backdrop for pictures, and will make the two of you stand out. Plus, don’t be afraid to use the snow to reflect your playful side!
